My name is Mikko Lagerstedt, and I am a creative landscape photographer from Finland. I love to photograph the common in a unique way. A big part of this is the timing, vision, and perspective. A place you might overlook transforms in different weather and light. It's the most difficult part of my photography and the most rewarding.
My photography displays landscapes closer than we think and reveals the hidden beauty in often-overlooked places. With a dreamy and minimalistic style, I capture the world around us, from the quiet stillness of a foggy morning to the ethereal glow of the Northern Lights.
My photography journey began in 2008, inspired by my love for the outdoors. Since then, I've aimed to evoke emotions by capturing fleeting moments in nature, creating a deeper connection between the viewer and the landscape. With my photography, my goal is to make people appreciate the beauty in the mundane and connect with the world around them.
With over 1.7 million followers worldwide, my work has been featured in publications, highlighting my dedication to uncovering hidden gems in everyday life. As a pioneer in Lightroom presets and the author of the popular book Star Photography Masterclass, I continue to share my passion for photography and teach others.
