A quiet moment on the island of Senja in Northern Norway. When winter brings cold winds and long nights, it also brings some of the most beautiful landscapes you can witness. Being in the right place at the right time as a landscape photographer is one of the hardest things, but when things fall into place, you are presented with a view that’s hard to believe is real. This photograph is one of those moments when everything fell into place: no wind and beautifully clear water, a hint of aurora on the horizon, and a sky filled with stars.
